Jet Ball Review:

A game where the main aim is to deflect and guide the ball using your pad. Very similar to blockbuster there are lots of levels and features
The three difficulties are:
Slow
Normal
Fast

Verdict: A good time filler but personally that is all. The three difficulties are a nice touch and the online leaderboards are good. Currently free on the UK app store it's worth a download however there are plenty of apps already out there that do the same thing. Well executed but nothing original!

Bumpy road

Bumpy road is a cartoon app. Which is all about two people in a car and throughout the journey you have to collect gems to keep the car running.some gems are high and some are low that's why you control the ground.the further you get in the level more obstacles appear eg water (which you have to jump over)

Verdict : It's is a good app but it is quite hard to control and doesn't really keep you entertained when u play.personally it's not my favourite but I'm not very good at this sort of game anyway but I do think you should try it if it sounds like your sort of game.

Fruit ninja

fruit ninja is a juicy action game enjoyed by millions all over the world, with squishy, splatting and satisfying fruit carnage.become the ultimate player with every slash. fruit ninja is a great quality app as there are many different levels involved and you are always unlocking new things.you can simply slice one fruit or get massive combos.

there are four ways you can play this game...
1) classic - where you slice as many fruits as you can, but if you let three fruits go off the screen before you slice them your game is over.also never hit a bomb it will end your game in one slash!
2)zen mode - you slice as many fruits as you can in 1.30 mins then your game is over so it doesn't matter how many fruits go off the screen you still play on
3)arcade -  you have 60 seconds to slash as many fruits as you can but there are more bombs to distract you!
4)multiplayer - this is great to play against your friends or family with but you do have to sign into game center to play this.

when you start playing this app you get a dojo where you can unlock different blades or backgrounds for when you play. eg - slice 50 bananas in 2 mins

Verdict: fruit ninja is one of them apps which everyone wants or has on their Ipods.the graphics are amazing as the fruit is so realistic when it gets sliced. i think its good how you can unlock things through out the game as it gives you something to aim for.But the only down fall on this game for me is that once you have unlocked everything and you get more skilled the levels become quite easy but i still enjoy playing this in my space time.

Verdict: I have never been a big fan of football games on Iphone/Ipods as the controls frustrate me but EA have done a marvelous job with this version. The players look like the real players and manager mode is even better.
It is pretty hefty in price at £3.99 which seems quite expensive so I advise waiting for a slae which occur if sales are low!

Boost app review

Boost is all about speed, this game is set in a tunnel and you have to try and dodge the boxes and other moving objects without hitting a thing! Throughout your play you might land on boost pads where your game will begin to speed up you can get many of these in a row but begins to get hard to control.if you are on a boost and you hit something don't worry you wont of ended you play you can carry on but you lose your speed, if you hit a box when your not on a boost you will of ended your play.

You can get many different ways of playing this game such as...

Time Trial- This is where you have one minute to get as far as you can through the level so you need speed boosts to help you.but if you hit something you will lose seconds but you can gain seconds by gaining boosts.

Survival-where you don't get boosts its just seeing how long you can last but there are more obstacles to watch out for.

Classic- this is just the normal mode where the rules are the same

Verdict:The graphics are great quality and is a very addictive game.the further you get through the levels the harder it gets so it is a challenging game.this has got to be one of my favorite games at the moment, because it doesn't matter how many times you have played on it it never gets boring.the only improvement i think it needs is  that you should have a difficulty setting because it has the classic but I think it should have easy medium and hard. this would let you improve in the game and give you something to work for.

Verdict: This app is perfect for on the go blogiing ( Wi-Fi required) . Perfect for use in bars, restaurants and even in the comfort of your own home! My only criticsm is that you cannot see your blogs stats. Personally this is a let down as I like to see how popular and how much traffic my blogs have had. On a plus side you can update all your blogs a lot easier and quicker through your one account!

Fat booth

Review
Making your friend into a fatter version of themselves and then sharing the resulting hilarious picture with all your other mates on Facebook or Twitter is incredibly childish. It is also side-splittingly funny and a hell of a lot of fun.


If your android phone or Ipod touch device has a camera then this is a must have app.The idea behind the app is that you can take a picture of someone else (aligning eyes,mouth and chin for full effect)after waiting for the results to generate you definitely wont be disappointed!

Verdict: This is a hilarious app which you can really repeat over and over again but still be funny. Personally I think some of the similar apps aren't as good as they don't even look real also the picture doesn't come out as well as the demo says it will. Just be careful on android if you download it; it will be fine and work well at the beginning but after a couple of days it does begin to crash and can become jammed. It is quite hard to remove but it is worth taking the risk as it is a very clever and funny app.you can download it on iPod touches even if you don't have a camera but you can only play around with the demo faces not your own which isn't really worth it but if you can take pictures you definitely need this app.


Currently this app is valued at 69p which is worth it but just make sure you have a camera before you buy.

Angry birds App

Review
Angry Birds is one of the best selling applications across the world as it is highly addictive. It's basically a puzzle game in which players use a slingshot to launch Angry Birds at pigs who apparently stole their eggs. Pigs are protected in different castles and players can use unique destructive powers of the Angry Birds to destroy the pigs. Angry Birds features 120 levels, each level require challenging physics-based structure demolition, logic, skills and bird force to destroy the enemy.


There are 5 different types of angry birds which are used throughout these levels.

*You have the black angry bird which you can catapult into the tower,as soon as it touches something it will blow up and knock down half of the level if you aim it right.
*The yellow triangle angry bird works well in wood levels as it bursts through wood or hard surfaces quickly,because once you have flung this bird it will rapidly speed up to get through harder surfaces.
*the small blue bird which works best with glass, during its flight through the air it splits itself into three smaller birds so your aim is bigger,this helps because it can knock down more of the level in just one go.
*the classic red angry bird just stays itself it doesn't have any extra features, simple but useful
*the white egg shaped bird will fly over the level and drop a bomb , but your aim has to be right otherwise it can miss quite easily.
*the green angry bird is used as a boomerang, you fling it from the catapult and once it has passed the target you touch your device and the bird acts as a boomerang.

Verdict: its a classic game and it has great graphics (Hd retina) its does get really addictive but at least its a good game to play day after day. only downside of it is that the levels can get quite repetitive after a while and they are quite similar to past levels.But a bonus to the game is that the updates are very generous as they come with loads of new features.

This game is currently 2nd on the Apple App store and is currently priced at 69p which is really good value!
